Many thanks to all the support from friends and family who attended The Teddy Bear’s Picnic at Glynneath Leisure Centre on 7th May 2012

We held a Teddy Bears’s picnic to raise cash for the Noah’s Ark appeal  on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Thank fully Glynneath Leisure Centre made a generous offer of their large hall and Bouncy castle at a vastly reduced price. Originally it was to be in the garden, which certainly would have been a washout.

There were games for the kids, plenty of food and bears along with a huge raffle and an auction. We had lots of donations from friends and family along with some local businesses which will remain anonymous, however, you know who you are so many thanks for your huge support.

In all, we raised, £407.10 which was way over our target and has certainly amazed us. The generosity was quite overwhelming.

However, special thanks must go to my wonderful wife, Dawn Griffiths, who almost single handed brought all this together and worked relentlessly to achieve this amazing goal.

Many thanks to everyone who supported us.

Until next time ?
